Ok... first off. WOW. Seriously, I like this well developed piece of work he carved into muzik :). I just went to Best Buy. And 1st off, I couldn't find it. But, my dumbass didn't look in tha "New Releases" Isle. Only in tha Rap/Hip-Hop section of CD's and didn't find it there. Anywho, I GOT IT, lol. From his single, "I Love College", he has been getting good reviews of his talent. Which if you ask him he just started to actually make muzik. He wrote and recorded a song just for tha fun of it like 3-4yrs ago *shrug shoulders*. Which led him to make more and get tha attention of Loud Records/UniversalMotown/SRC.

From tha beginning to end you hear a white kid who love tha whole Hip-Hop genre as a whole. He has Keri Hilson, Cee-Lo, Busta Rhymes, Jazze Pha, and OH yea Chester French :strange:. On this new beginning of a wonderful start of a career he has established. But can he make a better and more versatile course meal .

Production - It's a bit different/weird but well-fitting for tha newcomer, Asher Roth. You really can't expect much from someone who don't have any BIG names on this album, except for Don Cannon ("La Di Da"). I really didn't hope much on tha production end just frm hearing, "I Love College", as tha lead single. No offense, but tha beats are blah. And again I say which are a bit different/weird but fits him well :).
Overall C-

Content - It was actually quite thrilling to hear something NEW and different than tha same old I will shoot, stab, kill me a mutha****a, lol. Even tho we all like that type of muzik but it's too cliche to hear it repeatedly. If you know what I mean. So, tha direction of this album had was a very good route for us to take.
Overall B+

Songs - From hearing, "I Love College". Tha rest of tha album is far frm sounding like that. Which is a plus, cuz as much as I loved, "I Love College", his song, "Be By Myself (f. Cee-Lo)". Is a good example of NOT sounding like Eminem, lol. But a great record noneoftheless. For just being a newcomer a tracklist of a total of 12 songs is a good way to start out, real talk.
Overall B

Overall - If you wasn't a fan of his muzik. At the end of the day, YOU WILL! Tha content within this album is good. And it's enjoyable to listen to from start to finish. If you think he's wickedly trash, lol. Then Asher is not for you, honestly. But, if you are a true Hip-Hop fan you'll think this album is a considerable, dope piece of work :). The song(s) that stands out for you to want to hear over and over which are my favorite(s): "La Di Da", "Be By Myself (f. Cee-Lo)", "As I Em", "Bad Day", "I Love College", "His Dreams". From hearing his mixtape which dropped last year, "The Green House Effect". This is a different Asher I was exposed to. Which is all good, real talk. I can't wait to hear what he has next up for us to hear, literally. Good album, GO COP IT!!!

I dont think we will see much of this guy anymore...there will never be a good white rapper...Em has got that crown forever..any white rapper that comes...goes just as fast..like pall wall and bubba sparks..he will be out of the limelight quick if hes not already. Just imo

well actually he's here to stay to me he just needs to find a way to stay as active like he was earlier this year... he doesn't have to be better than Eminem, just make his own lane like he does so. Which really makes him different than Eminem. And really color doesn't mean anything if you got skills then you got skills, point-blank.
