    Dear Mama
    Hit Em Up
    How Do You Want It

As alot of yall have mentioned i think its important to show all the different sides of Pac to someone who is listening to his music for the first time!

I value you guys. You, Jah, do incredible job and Taylor does it too. No secret.
I was just talking about the concentration of the information/opinions on the forums... Thanks for the critique anyway =)

Great question. You could easily hit shuffle under 2pac on your iPod and just play the first 3 songs, guaranteed to all be awesome! I'll go for:
    Me against the world
    Dear mama
Stairing through my rearview... or never had a friend like me... or keap ya head up

I give up too difficult to choose just 3!!

    California Love (remix)
    2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted

But yea just depends on the mood and setting I guess. If you sitting back listening to meaningful tracks then play tracks like So Many Tears etc

Depends on a few factors.. but if someone wanted to know why I liked Pac I'd probably go with these 3:

    Dear Mama
    Changes
    Me Against The World

    Good conversation starters I think..

Keep Ya Head Up, Only God Can Judge Me, Lost Souls (Still can't understand why Lost Souls was left off 7 Day Theory, such a great song).

Honestly it really depends on who I am trying to convert.
2Pac has lots of sides to his music and his personality, but i wouldn't show them all at once. Personally, I was a lot more into Pac's harder hitting. aggressive, 96-era stuff and wasn't interested in many of his softer, introspective, or political songs. These songs of course grew on me the more I learned about the man and his movement.
Most times when I get into a new artist, it starts with 1 or 2 songs then I leapfrog through songs of a similar feel. Once I begin liking the artist's style I can move through their albums and the material you initially skipped.

However, if I had to list 3 songs most likely to convert an average hip-hop fan, I'd choose

    California Love
Never Had a Friend Like Me
    Ambitionz az a Ridah

Starts with arguably his most popular song, definitely his most mainstream, and teamed with with Dr. Dre, who most will already be fans of.
Then in my opinion one of his saddest, realest, and deepest songs.
Straight Pac bars on Friend Like Me and Ambitionz az a Ridah, which was the song that got me hooked on Pac first. Never heard anyone flow so seamlessly onto a hard hitting beat like that. For a long time, I didn't know half of what he was saying but didn't care because I was hypnotized by the way his flow almost became part of the beat. Nobody touching him when you drop that shit.
All these are very catchy, boasting great production. But they also showcase Pac's combination of passion, energy, and emotion with his legendary flow and introspective storytelling.

If you ain't a Pac junkie after a few listens, something is seriously wrong with you

They wanna bury me, I'm worried -- I'm losin my mind
Look down the barrel of my nine and my vision's blurry
Fallin to pieces, am I guilty?
I pray to the Lord but he ignores me unfortunately cause I'm guilty
Show me a miracle, I'm hopeless -- I'm chokin off
marijuana smoke, with every toke it's like I'm losin focus
Fallin to sleep while I'm at service, when will I die?

yeah that's true it does matter who you're converting. I remember a older lady at work asking me to play a pac track for her on my iPod so she can see what the hype was about. so I played Brenda got a baby but for my old roommate in college who didn't like Pac I played hearts of men. maybe for a young money fan or something I'll play a song from all eyes on me. it'll be stupid if I played hit em up or let em have it for a older audience
