Default REVIEW: Tupac Assassination 3: Battle for Compton

Watched the film the other night:

The film starts off giving a history lesson about corruption in Compton and the LAPD with a stop in Mexico regarding drug crime there that still doesn't seem to fit, it's as if RJ Bond and Michael Carlin think the viewers are unaware that sometimes Police can be bad. The entire premise of the film is that Snoop Dogg and his crew most notably his cousin Lil Half Dead had a falling out with Tupac, then the jump is made to the already discussed ad nauseam matter of Reggie Wright Jr. (Head of Security at Death Row) told the bodyguards on duty not to bring their guns. The theory is further developed that Wright was actually after Suge Knight and that the 9/7/1996 shooting accidentally hit Tupac. With Knight still alive the conspirators (Snoop's crew is implied as involved, Reggie Wright and Sharitha Knight) then embarked on a mission to frame the East Coast rappers and Crips for the killing of Tupac, and what better way to do that then to kill the Notorious B.I.G. just 6 months later. Also they had Kaddafi killed, and the deaths of Michael Moore, Frank Alexander and Russell Poole are thrown in although never linked to make the viewer think the conspirators have really been cleaning house.

In the end (over 2 Hours) you have a pretty entertaining tale, and those less informed and gullible will probably buy it but there are things that just make no sense:

    1) Why shoot at Suge if he is the only target from Pac's side of the car?
    2) The Biggie murder is barely addressed (maybe 30 minutes out of the whole 2 hours) and when it is it is simply just a rehash of Poole's original theory minus the murder being ordered by Knight from jail
    3) After Frank Alexander, Michael Moore, Kevin Hackie and Russell Poole made Suge Knight out to be a devil -- he is now the main victim
    4) RJ Bond assert's Tupac shot himself in 1994
    5) Orlando Anderson had no involvement what so ever and once again Reggie Wright orchestrated the whole gang reprisal that followed Pac's death to make it look like a Bloods/Crips and East/West thing.

RJ Bond has admitted that Tupac Assassination 2 was made because he and Frank got robbed out of their money from TA1. Well this seems to be a direct response to Greg Kading's work (which I don't 100% agree with) which is having a lot of success.

this whole thing with tupac just doesn't add up .. my whole thing about this inccident that happen over 20 years ago had something to do with the US government wanting pac dead not reggie wright , snoops cousin and who so ever they chose to say. I believe the FBI AND US government official had a lot to do with it and i also believe tupac knew what was going to happen on that night , i mean listen to the patterns of his songs he knew what was going to go down after getting death threats , getting shot and the history with his family.. Here is my conclusion , Tupac did get shot on september 7th but he survived it and its been 20 plus years these guys like R J bond , Greg kading and also death believers is trying to pin the last piece of the puzzle to make it complete . No one actually saw tupac laying in a coffin dead not even his close friends and family and we all know that picture kathy published was 1000% fake. To me the documentaries they should be making now is how tupac survived the shooting because there is no hard evidence he is dead and there is no evidence who really shot him to kill him. so they should talk about how he did it and why he did it , he said it himself eventhough its from old interviews , it was put there for a reason

Government has bigger problems than Tupac.... Pac recorded tons of music because he was out on bail.and figured he was going back to jail and wanted to be able to release albums while in jail to dominate from jail be ause Pac was at war.
No one seen Pac dead because his biological father popped up in 1994 and Afeni knew he wasnt on Pac birth certificate and if he wasnt crematef quickly his biological father would get DNA tested and be entitled to half the esstate.

I undedstand ita hard to believe Pac died over gangbanging because he was so big but he was a human being capable of being killed over anything.

If you actually think logically there is logical answers

This movie was horrid. They knew they had time potentially to release one more movie before everyone knew about murder rap so they hurried up and just put 40 min worth of stuff in it just to say people can be corrupt and bad because nobody who matters or has credibility will interview for their dumb movie so of course they need 40 mins worth of things and interviews of people who have nothimg to do with Pac. These guys milked the cow dry and tried to suck a little more money out of it since they knew TA movies were a joke to the Tupac community now and soon even the gullible will know about Murder Rap. Thrown together garbage excuse for a movie...

People are saying RJ Bond is a conspiracy theorist, nah he knows this documentary is nonsense. RJ Bond is trying to make money and is playing off the uncertainty that surrounds Tupac's death amongst his fans to cast further doubt into the mix and make money while doing it.

I agree he does know that Orlando killed Pac, what gives the Pac and Biggie murders so many theories is the sheer amount of criminal activity going on around them.

A lot of 2Pac's more recent fans came on the scene around the time that "changes" and the "greatest hits" album was released. A lot of them were young teenagers who didn't know 2Pac's career while he was alive or at least weren't all that aware of him. They continued to be interested in 2Pac as the posthumous albums were being released and also started researching 2Pac's life and original albums. Young fans like that naturally do not see that the business of 2Pac Shakur at that stage was about generating income first and protecting 2Pac's legacy second.

Those fans are now older and have exhausted what they can consume in relation to content from 2Pac and his affiliates etc. This level of fandom also diminishes with age and these fans of course began to get older. Thats why Gobi is too late with his "7 Dayz" documentary. Is is also why RJ Bond might as well be pissing into the wind with these documentary releases that aren't going to generate much in the way of dollars at all.

I am one of these fans, I know.

The next generation of fans are not coming up. Afeni is gone. The unreleased material is greatly diminished and the 2Pac movie has been a failure in so far as it is just not up to a level of standard that would cause a young person to go to the record store to buy 2Pacalypse Now in my opinion or cause them to become obsessed with 2Pacs legacy.

So go ahead RJ Bond and whoever else wants to drop this shit. We know its all about the money and you're not really going to make any of it with this shit.
